Belvoir Castle is located in the picturesque Vale of Belvoir, with it's dramatic views, deep valleys, historic parkland and lakes, the Belvoir Castle Estate is the perfect place to offer the finest partridge, pheasant and duck shooting in breath-taking surroundings.

The highest quality driven birds, combined with the heritage and magnitude of the castle makes for an experience never to forget. There are many exciting drives to choose from on the 17,000 acre Belvoir Estate. No two drives are the same. Different locations, scenery, topography, wind and the natural instinct of the birds makes each and every drive a new experience.

The name Belvoir – meaning 'beautiful view' in French, and pronounced today as 'beaver' – dates back to Norman times.

Shooting starts from early September until the end of January.

Belvoir Castle Shoot provides for a quintessentially British sporting experience. Your shoot day will usually consist of four or five drives, with refreshment breaks during the day and late lunch at the end of the day when shooting finishes in the Castle.

Belvoir can also offer accommodation at either the Castle itself, or the nearby Croxton Lodge. Staying at the Castle is truly unique, with guests enjoying full unhindered access to one of the most historic Castles in the UK, which has been the ancestral home of the Duke of Rutland for almost a thousand years. Alternatively, teams can stay in the newly refurbished and charming Croxton Lodge, which provides the ideal private location for teams to enjoy their evenings.
