Blatherwycke Estate covers 815 hectares, situated on either side of Willow Brook, along the northeastern border of Northamptonshire. The land at Blatherwycke was mentioned in the Doomsday Book and there have been several settlements on the land in medieval times. There is still evidence of a sunken medieval village adjacent to the main lake.
The estate enjoys excellent access by both train and road, making it easily reachable for visitors
The shoot is run as a traditional English shoot with between 4-5 drives in a day and stopping for refreshments after each stand. The team can decide to either stop for lunch or 'shoot through'.
Locally there are plenty of options from cosy pubs, luxury hotels and private houses.
