Brixton shooting is renowned for its formidable reputation among seasoned enthusiasts. From the demanding early season partridges to the later season pheasants, it rivals any shoot in the country. Notable drives such as Abyssinia, Beeches, and McSharries, along with horseback, which on its day is unbeatable. With top-notch lodge amenities and delicious lunches, Brixton offers an unmatched shooting experience.

In 2015, while laying a cable, a Roman villa's remnants were unearthed in the village garden. Archaeologists found a mid-4th-century grand villa during subsequent excavations.

The estate has two shoot lodges, typically we would meet at the bottom of the valley and head up for the first drive. Lunch would be then taken on the hill with stunning views over the downs. The shooting is of the highest order, so expect very long and challenging drives you'll remember for a long time.
