Staffordshire

Nestled in the heart of Staffordshire, the Sandon Estate spans approximately 5,000 acres and is home to Lord and Lady Harrowby. Since coming under new management in 2020, the estate has seen significant updates to its facilities and the development of numerous exciting new drives, making it one of the premier shooting destinations in the region.

The estate boasts over 40 named drives, ranging from carefully planted cover crops to ancient woodlands. Drives are designed to challenge even the most seasoned guns, showcasing birds that will truly test your skill. At Sandon, they pride themselves on maintaining the highest standards while fostering a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere to ensure every guest enjoys their day to the fullest.

A typical day at Sandon includes four expertly planned drives, with a break for drinks and nibbles at the renowned “Tower,” followed by a sumptuous lunch at the shoot lodge. Guests are transported around the estate in our comfortable gun bus, with a Polaris available for access to pegs if needed. However, with 99% of the terrain being gentle grassland, Sandon offers easy walking for most guests.
