A stunning, crenelated castle, Stanage is owned by the Jonathan Coltman-Rogers, former high sheriff of Powys. Shooting takes place over parkland designed by Humphrey Repton, the most famous drives being The Rocks, Vimy Ridge, Weston and Holloway Oaks. Unspoilt scenery, unique drives along escarpments with panoramic views across England and Wales, rocket-assisted pheasants driven off high bluffs hurtling along with the wind behind them; shooting in the Welsh Marches is exceptional in every way.
